Glo lines up Tuface, Olamide, Flavour for Ijebu Ode Mega Music Tour

It is going to be an extra-ordinary weekend for the people of Ijebu Ode in Ogun State as the high-flying music concert, Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour, hits the ancient town.

The hot musical jamboree that has traversed over a dozen cities across Nigeria will be featuring Nigeria’s brightest and best musicians in Ijebu Ode. The roll call includes Tuface Idibia, Olamide Adedeji (Badoo), highlife maestro, Flavour, dance hall master, Runtown, Phyno, Timaya and Marvin Records Diva, Di’Ja.

Pebbles Hotel in Ijebu Ode is the fun spot that will attract these sparkling stars and thousands of guests as from 4.00 p.m. on Saturday.

Hosts of the show are two of Nollywood’s best actresses, Mercy Johnson Okojie and Ebube Nwagbo. Female Disk Jockey, Nanayat Abedoh, is billed to handle the music console.

According to a statement issued by Globacom, a major highlight of the show will be appearances by celebrity guests such as Nollywood icon, Richard Mofe-Damijo and popular Yoruba movie stars, Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr. Latin and Odunlade Adekola.

“The Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour will be the second entertainment show held by Globacom in Ijebu Ode in the last three weeks, having held the equally popular Glo Laffta Fest in the same city earlier on”, Globacom said.

The company said the shows are meant to richly reward its subscribers and say thank you to them for their abiding faith, loyalty and dedication to the Globacom brand over the years. Globacom said the subscribers are the reason it is in business, and as such, will not spare any effort to make them happy.

The company said this is why it has selected the best music talents in the country to be part of the Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour, adding that, “this is consistent with our beliefthat Nigerians deserve the best of everything at all times”.

Those who wish to attend the shows are expected to have used up to N2,000 recharge cards for voice or data a month ahead of the show and then indicate their desire to attend the show by sending the SMS “MUSIC IJEBU ODE” to the short code 207. “This qualifies them to receive an invitation to attend the show,” the company said.

Existing subscribers who did not meet the eligibility criteria as well as new subscribers who are desirous of attending the event could also go to the event venue to purchaserecharge card worth N2,000 and load it on their phones to be entitled to a ticket.
