Nigeria’s national telecom operator, Globacom shone like a million stars as subscribers thronged the Glo Pavilion, its spectacular platform created to engage and excite its teeming subscribers at the 2014 edition of the annual Kaduna Trade Fair.
The operator’s colourful pavilion at the fair has been a beehive of activities as subscribers trooped in and out to avail themselves of the innovative bouquet of products and services offered by Glo and also resolve any issue with their devices or subscriptions.
Globacom’s Divisional Director, Kaduna Territory, Mr. Fatai Kilani, said: “Globacom has a long standing commitment to help drive socio-economic growth and development in the communities where it operates. This explains why we always strive to partake in such economic activities as the Kaduna Trade Fair. Such occasions also afford us the opportunity to engage with our customers and see how we can facilitate the realization of their social and business aspirations, using our bouquet of products and services.
Mr. Kilani said the company is particularly proud to associate with this year’s edition of the fair, with the theme, “Agricultural Transformation for Industrial Development: Public Private Partnership (PPP) Approach.”
To enrich its participation at the fair, Mr. Kilani said Globacom has earmarked a lot of special offers and prizes to give away to subscribers during the fair. As part of the excitement, Glo subscribers who visit the Glo stand will win recharge cards in the fast finger/raffle draw competition while Glo high speed internet modems will be presented as gifts to visiting high net worth individuals.
“Our participation this year signposts our belief in this market and also demonstrates our commitment to engage our consumers at all levels in a bid to meet their unique needs. While the fair lasts, northern movie icon and popular Glo ambassador, Sani Danja, will perform at Globacom’s pavilion and engage with his fans. He will be available to take pictures with them and give autographs.
The Kaduna Trade Fair was officially flagged off by the Executive Governor of Kaduna State represented by the Deputy Governor, Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga Audu.
