Glo-sponsored drama series airs on NTA, AIT, Showcase

The broadcast of two exciting drama series, Super Story and Enakhe, continues this week on major television channels, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), African Independent Television (AIT) and Showcase courtesy of telecommunications operator, Globacom.

The series are Super Story produced by Wale Adenuga Productions and Enakhe, a new drama on DSTV. According to Globacom, the sponsorship of the broadcast is in line with the company’s support for the arts and entertainment industry in Nigeria.

Super Story currently centres on “Revenge” and explores the interplay of love, double dating, back biting, attempted murder and intrigues. It parades veteran actors such as Funsho Adeolu, Shan George, Kunle Coker, Toyin Alausa, Kehinde Bankole, Joseph Momodu, Tersy Akpata and Annetta Adebusuyi.

Shot in Benin, Edo State, Enakhe is the story a young woman who, after inheriting the father’s ill-built empire, has to prove her mettle in a society where power and honour are never freely handed over to a woman. The cast consists mainly of Edo indigenes including Alex Usifo, Ivie Okujaye, Philip Asaya and Eunice Omoregie.

According to Globacom, Super Story is shown on the network of African Independent Television (AIT) every Thursday, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) every Thursday from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The company also said that Enakhe is broadcast on Showcase on DTSV Channel 151 from 8.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. An omnibus edition also runs on the same station from 3.p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
