Grand finale of Season IV of UNLEASH Your Talents

After weeks of auditions, trainings, rehearsals and camping, 23 brilliant youths with awesome abilities in different arts ranging from music, dance, comedy and modeling, finally converged as finalists on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the classy Kingscourt Events Centre, Ikorodu, Lagos, to determine the most outstanding talents to be unleashed.

The platform for the contest of talents was the grand finale of Season IV of the much-talked about grassroots talents exposition: UNLEASH Your Talents.

It was indeed a show filled with intense emotion for the 23 outstanding talents selected from three audition centres across Ikorodu for four segments of arts namely, music, dance, comedy, and modeling as families and fans from different background formed the large audience at the event to encourage their loved ones.

 

Boluwatife Amogbe Kikelomo (Top 1,  music)

Tell us about yourself

Bolu- TOP 1st MUSICMy names are Boluwatife Amogbe Kikelomo. I’m an indigene of Kwara State, the only child of a single mother. I love singing, dancing and meeting people.

What do you do aside music?

I’m a model and an OAP at UNILAG FM, Lagos.

Where do you hope to find yourself in five years?

Working with a good radio station where I can directly touch lives across the global. Also, I look forward to getting nominations for the BET and MAMA as a music superstar.

What was your most memorable moment at UNLEASH camp?

The nights we stayed awake till past three rehearsing, it was so amazing. I never believe we all could still get up very early for the morning routine. I still wonder where we all got the strength. I guess it’s about focus and passion, anyway.

Emerging the first among other winners in the music segment at UNLEASH Your Talents Season IV, how does it feel?

It feels promising and reassuring that I can actually do greater things against all odds.

What next after the Season IV?

Exploring more grounds and improving on myself, build larger fan base. To achieve this, I trust in God and support of my management, (the organizers of UNLEASH).

What’s your parting shot to the youths out there, your fans and organizers of UNLEASH?

To the organizers of this wonderful initiative, I say a big thank you for this idea and God bless you. To the youths, I say, please never give up on yourself.

 

Benson Daniel (Top 1, modeling)

Tell us about yourself?

I’m Benson Daniel by name, from Ondo State. I’m 19 and a fun-loving guy. My hobbies include singing, dancing, watching action movies and meeting people.

Ibukun Benson- Top 1st, Modelling segmentWhy modeling?

I’m into modeling for so many reasons. I was not born to like it unlike most ladies, but my height and body structure encouraged me since I love pictures and fashion, and of course, it’s part of entertainment which I love so much.

Who is your role model?

Daniel Agbodji. I just like his style and peculiar moves, also because he’s my namesake.

Where do you hope to find yourself in five years?

Five years seems too far away, but I see myself in great places beyond what I’m thinking. I believe I’m set for greatness in the industry even before the five year projection.

What would you say was your most memorable moment at UNLEASH camp?

I can’t really say in specifics. But I enjoyed my first day, the orientation, exercises, training and in fact, I enjoyed everything about it.

Emerging the first position among other winners in modeling segment at UNLEASH Your Talents Season IV, how does it feel?

It’s something great! First, I feel great that all the time and effort invested into the project from the auditions down to camping, trainings, etc were not a waste. Second, I succeeded in convincing my mom to believe in my dreams.

 

Adejoke Adeyemi (Top 1, dance)

Tell us about yourself?

My name is Adejoke Adeyemi. I’m 15, SS 3 Science student of Straightways Private Academy. An indigene of Ogun State, my best subjects are Mathematics and Biology. My hobbies are singing, dancing, making fun and reading.

Because it’s like an inheritance, it flows in the family..

Where do you hope to find yourself in five years?

In five years, I see myself becoming a widely known and celebrated dance instructor, touching many lives with my abilities in different ways. I also see myself becoming a medical doctor.

Emerging the first position among other winners in the dance segment at UNLEASH Your Talents Season IV, how does it feel?

I felt like I was already in another world entirely, a world of achievers, actualizers, a world of people with unique abilities.

What next after the Season IV?

For now, I need to bury my head into my studies and ensure I pass out with good grades in my coming examinations. At the same time, I’ll be doing some appearances here and there, though it won’t be much for now. My management: Fanafillit will see to that.

What’s your parting shot to the youths out there, your fans and organizers of UNLEASH?

To my fellow youths out there, just don’t give up on yourself, believe in your dream. And when you find opportunities anywhere, grab them; don’t feel too big to go for them. They should expect the best out of the best from me because I’m not going to be tired of being the best. And finally, to the organizers of this brilliant piece of work, you guys are just too good, love you for giving me and my fellow contestants this unusual opportunity.

 

Prosper Ogidi (Top 1, Comedy)

Tell us about yourself?

My name is Prosper Ogidi. I’m an SS 1 student of Luwasa Senior High School, Ijede, Ikorodu, Lagos. I hail from Delta state, and my stage name is Prosper. My best subject is Biology. My hobby is playing and watching football.

What do you do aside comedy?

Prosper- Top 1st, ComedyI do a bit of rapping.

Why comedy?

It’s what I love to do. I love to put smiles on people’s faces and watch them laugh away their pains.

What inspired you?

The star comedians around me.

Who is your role model?

My role model is Akpororo.

Where do you hope to find yourself in five years?

In five years, I see myself all around the world.

Emerging the first position among other winners at UNLEASH Your Talents Season IV, how does it feel?

I really feel on top the world. And that was what I told myself that I must rule the world of comedy.

What next after the Season IV?

After UNLEASH, what next? People should start inviting me to their shows. But that will be through Fanafillit, my management.

What’s your parting shot to the youths out there, your fans and organizers of UNLEASH?

To all youths out there, just keep on believing in yourself. To my fans, please continue to love me and remember me always in your prayers. I love you all!
