Guests spoiled to stupefaction
Guests at the nuptials of Halima Babangida and Alhaji Auwal Lawal Abdullahi in Niger and Gombe states from Wednesday, May 10, to Saturday, May 13, 2017, were splashed with uncommon courtesies and merriment.
With private jets of politicians and tycoons on ground for some dignitaries, befitting accommodation were thrown in across the two cities of Minna and Gombe.
The hospitality was on point with guests receiving 5-star treatment from the brigade of beneficiaries of the gap-toothed former leader who ruled and reigned between August 27, 1985 and August 27, 1993.
34 jets landed and took off in Minna, and two planes and a private jet used Gombe airport. Some of the jets were practically converted to ‘air taxi’.
There were buses and cars taking people to the venues…
We cannot talk about the lavish food and drinks, and the conducive halls and marquees decorated into comely havens handled by a number of event planners coordinated by ‘Tolu’.
There was also Ibidun Ituah-Ighodalo of Elizabeth R.
Food from the area and continental menu were at guests’ beck and call.
