The tracking device can alert airline staff if it appears the luggage is missing or heading to different destination. These smart suitcases have the ability to weigh, lock itself and also charge a mobile phone.

The tracking service and GPS allows the owner to track their suitcases with the help of an app downloaded on their electronic device.

The smart suitcases, designed by a team in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, California (USA) sells for $400.
