Heavily pregnant Funke Akindele jets to UK

An industry source revealed to encomium.ng that the Ikorodu, Lagos born thespian left the country for London a couple of days back and she has since resumed antenatal programme in one of the private hospitals there.

“Funke Akindele has travelled to London. She left a few days ago. I learned she will stay there pending the time she will deliver her twins. I also learned she was received like a queen at the hospital where she is currently undergoing antenatal. She’s very much likely to deliver soon because she’s heavily pregnant at the moment. Even, she had a baby shower in her Lekki, Lagos home about two months ago. That means, she’s expected to put to bed any time in December this year or very early part of January next year. I wish her safe delivery.”

In a bid to confirm the good news, encomium.ng contacted her publicist, Mr Biodun Kupoluyi on Monday, November 13, 2017, and he reacted, “Yes, she is in London at the moment, but I will get back to you for details soon.”
