Here are 8 ways 5 wealthiest Nigerians can end poverty

It is easy to conclude that the Inequality Report released by Oxfam – an international confederation of charitable organisations focused on the alleviation of global poverty, founded in Oxford, the United Kingdom, in 1942 – wants the five wealthiest Nigerians to hand over their riches.
Worried about the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few, and the alarmingly growing poverty level with 112 million living below it, and five million facing starvation in the North-east, Oxfam is asking our government and the most financially endowed compatriots to do more.
And those blessed can actually do more to give life better meaning for the impoverished.
With $29.9 billion net worth (Alhaji Aliko Dangote, $14.4 billion, Dr. Michael Adenuga, Jnr. $9.9 billion, Mr. Femi Otedola $1.85 billion, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija $1.55:billionand Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu $1.1 billion), they actually can do more.
With their vast experiences and looming influence, they can:

1. Expand their businesses and create more jobs.

2. Pay fantastic salaries and wages to create more financially endowed populace.

3. Give business grants and loans through financial institutions with one digit interest rate and longer tenors.

4. Train potential entrepreneurs at free seminars and workshops.

5. Donate more to educational institutions and charity organisations.

6. Support pressure groups which demand transparency in government and encourage good governance.

7. Persuade government to reduce cost of governance and pump more money into education and basic infrastructure.

8. Engage in more corporate social responsibility programmes across the nation.
