Hip-hop star, Presh seals N20m deal with Tadok Recordz ‘This is just the beginning’

HIP-hop star, Presh (Precious John) has sealed a recording deal with Tadok Recordz.  The juicy three-year contract is worth N20 million!

Confirming this in a phone interview with ENCOMIUM Weekly, Presh who until recently was part of KCPresh, said he was surprised by the management of the Port Harcourt based company.  “Tadok Global Production Incorporated has really shown me love.  And I can only say that this is just the beginning of better things to happen to Presh.  Yes, it is true I just sealed a N20 million recording deal. I am highly elated.”

Asked how his path crossed with Tadok Recordz, Presh said they have been friends for long.  He said Tadok boss, Obikeme Prince Timi has interest and passion in music, entertainment at large and the growth of artists.  “He is not just particular about money but he takes delight in nurturing talents,” Precious who is currently promoting his single, Who goes there, said in the phone chat.

ENCOMIUM Weekly can authoritatively report that Presh signed the recording contract with Tadok Global Productions chairman, Prince Timi issuing him a dummy cheque worth N20 million on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.  Witnessed by select entertainment journalists, the brief ceremony was held at Metro Park, Isaac John, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.  Kicking off with an interactive session with the media, the chairman/CEO of Tadok Global Production Inc., Prince Timi flew in from Abuja to personally present the cheque to the hip-hop crooner.

He later spoke with ENCOMIUM Weekly explaining why Tadok Global Production took special interest in Presh.  “It is real.  We are investing N20 million on Presh.  We have been following him right from the time he was with KCPresh.  And we know he is one of the most talented Nigerian artists.  As he said, this is just the beginning, we are going to support him while we work as partners,” Tadok boss assured.

Presh has put in more than a decade in music.  Together with his erstwhile label mate (Kcee), they had five albums and numerous hits songs that brought them fortune and fame.

The maiden winners of Star Quest and multiple award winning acts surprisingly parted ways last year with each pursuing a solo career.  As Kcee is giving good account of his artistic efforts, shooting wondrous videos, Presh has really hit it big with a mouth watering N20 million recording deal courtesy of Tadok Global Production Inc., a record label, artist management, music and video mastering and production as well as event planning and management company.  Tadok is working in partnership with AMP Entertainment, Presh’s own business outfit.
