Today (Monday, June 6) heralds the Ramadan season, the holy month in Islam where faithful fast from dawn to dusk for about 29 or 30 days, practicing benevolence and tolerance, and seeking forgiveness of sins.
Those old enough, strong and healthy, abstain from food and sex – as they live a worthy lifestyle.
Across the world, Muslims and non-Muslims are full of gratitude, sending goodwill messages and preaching brotherhood.
