Homeless rapper raps his way to record deal

A “homeless” rapper has gone one step closer to fulfilling his dream after a video of him rapping in Chicago subway went viral after it surfaced on the internet.

Joseph Lane, also known as Solow Redline, was spotted showing off his lyrical prowess by local musician Cordell Hunter – who owns an independent label 89 Music; Hunter filmed the rapper’s performance and uploaded the clip to Facebook, where it has gone viral.

Speaking to FOX 32, Lane said: ‘I’ve been homeless for a long time and I just want to get a home for my kids, I want my babies to grow up and be proud of their father”.
