The remains of Honourable Kazeem Ademola Alimi – the Lagos Assembly lawmaker who died on Tuesday, July 18 – will be buried this afternoon (Wednesday; July 19) at Victoria Court Cemetery on Lekki-Epe Expressway (Lagos). Barring any last minute change, the 50 year old representative of Eti-Osa 1 constituency will be buried at the popular cemetery on Kilometre 36 on the Eputu, Ibeju Lekki axis of the expressway between 2 and 4 pm.
Members of the Lagos House of Assembly were instructed to assemble at the Alausa, Ikeja chambers before 11 am so as to prepare for the funeral.
Being a Muslim, the bulky two-term legislator – who passed on yesterday at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja 15 days after his 50th birthday – will be buried today. Unless there’s a last minute change.
