Hon. Fatai Olukoga gets party leaders’ support for House of Reps

Just as the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries draw nearer, Hon. Fatai Olukoga, the party’s House of Representative aspirant for Ikorodu Federal Constituency, has called for improved participation and involvement of women and youths if a true political and socio-economic enhancement is to be achieved in the country.

Olukoga, who is currently serving as the Special Adviser to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola on Education, said this in Lagos recently as he rounded off his political tour of all the six local government areas, LCDAs and 30 wards that make up Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

At a warm and prospective reception in his honour by the G52 group of the APC in Ikorodu which was headed by Prince Abiodun Ogunleye,  and APC leader, with other notable party leaders like Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun (former Secretary to the State Government) and one time Commissioner for Education, Princess Aderele Ogunsanya, former Secretary to the State Government, Kaoli Olusanya, a former Commissioner for Agriculture, and other party prominent leaders. The party leaders reposed their confidence in Olukoga, stating that with his personality the constituency and its people can be rest assured of rapid groswth and development from his apparent dedication to service, exemplary leadership qualities and administrative competence as well as his humane character, if given the mandate.

Similarly, Alhaji Ralwan Jinadu, the LGA Executive chairman in Ikorodu, who received Olukoga heartily in Ikorodu LGA party secretariat on behalf of the party exco and ward leaders disclosed his confidence in the aspirant whom he said has done very well for Ikorodu people, especially in the area of youth development, education and skill acquisition, philanthropic gesture to widows and the aged and even to the party. While wishing him the best and guaranteeing his support, Jinadu said Olukoga’s humanitarian gesture will play out in his favour at the elections.
