Hope of Dr. Allwell Orji’s mother dashed as body of her 35 year old son is identified

The hope of the mother of Dr. Allwell Orji has been dashed as his corpse was retrieved from the CMS area of Lagos lagoon.

The distressed woman who lost her husband about four years ago had believed that the first of her three children would be rescued alive.
Arriving at the scene on Sunday, March 19, on Third Mainland Bridge, shortly after her son jumped into the lagoon, she was speechless.
And as sympathisers  thronged her Odunukan Street two-storey home in Abule Ijesha (near the University of Lagos), she was optimistic that the easy going doctor who worked at Mount Sinai Hospital in Mushin area of Lagos would be rescued.
And as the days wore on, hope fizzled.
Now it has been confirmed that the friendly gentleman’s body was recovered at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 22.
