How much undergraduates spend per week!

EVERY session when undergraduates return to campuses, there are always new expenses.  Some parents send their children/wards allowances on a monthly basis and some on a weekly basis to help with the many payments to be made.

ENCOMIUM Weekly had a chat with students from different universities on how much they spend on a weekly basis, what they spend on and how much would really sustain them in a week.

‘N3,000 would do’ – Adebeshin Samuel

An average of N3,000 is what I spend.  This goes to transportation, feeding, assignments, dues.  I get about N4,000 in a month from home.  They give me N2,000 every week, which I share with my younger brother.  It doesn’t cater for my needs, but there are support systems like close friends and other quick jobs I get like graphic design and printing of cards, stickers and banners.  All these amount for the percentage which I don’t get from home.  To be sincere, N3,000 would do.
