IMG_20140620_091721How and when did your journey into stardom begin?

I started acting about four years ago but got serious about it two years ago. It was not easy at the start when my parents and family were against it. But with time, things changed and they accepted my choice.

Which was you first movie?

My first movie was Dons of Sakawa produced by Venus Films Production by Abdul Salam Mumuni.

Which movie shot you into limelight?

The movie I will say that brought me into limelight is The Three Widows produced by Pressing Forward Production by Simon Chibuzo. That was very challenging. I had to shave my hair alongside some great actors such as Oge Okoye and Queen Nwokoye. The movie is one I will never forget.

How will you describe the journey so far?

It’s been a roller coaster ride in the sense that it hasn’t been easy but I thank God it was worth the journey.

 Who are your role models?

My role model or mentor is myself because I have learnt a lot myself. I learnt to be strong and never give up. Learnt to persist and never give up on my dream. Aside that, my mom is a big part of me. She taught me a lot that has brought me this far.

What are the pains and gains?

That would be never giving up because it is so easy to give up. And when you struggle hard and push through, the result of your efforts is the best thing ever. Knowing that you didn’t give up because this business is a very tough one and you need to be on your toes 24/7 to deliver. Sometimes you are sick, or in a bad mood or something but when the director shouts action, you just have to deliver.

IMG_20140620_085513You are a Nigerian/Ghanaian actress, would you say it’s a plus or minus?

It works to my favour a lot. I relate either way when I’m here or there, it is really helping to take my career to a higher height.

Any discrimination?

No discrimination at all.

You are talented, famous and beautiful. How do you handle your male admirers?

I handle them just so well and in the right way.
