Your storyline must be good. You must have the right cast for the movie. You must have the finance to move the movie to international standard. All the equipment needed must be made available. A perfect and solid director, make-up and costume to make a good movie.
The story must be tight. The shooting of the movie must be of international standard.

That is where a good writer comes in, a good writer who can make the story appealing. You need great actors, a good camera and a good cinematographer.
You must have the right funding, if not, you wouldn’t have a story.

Funding is a challenge. Most good actors are expensive. Distribution is also a problem and getting your money back is a problem. Piracy is eating up the industry. Our hope is the cinema and online platform.

Very capital intensive, if you want to do a movie that will meet international standard. You need a good camera that will give you a very good resolution.
You need good costume and a good research so that you can get it all right. It is really expensive. When you finish production, you have to do a post production, the sound, the picture, everything must be in shape. Most important, you have to spend money on advertising and distribution. You have to make noise about it so as to create hunger in the people for the movie.

That is the expectation. Our people seem to prefer to watch American movies in the cinema. These days, there are some kinds of luck involved. Sometimes, you can’t even predict. The consumer’s behavior is something you cannot predict.
