King of the Zanga, Durella whose real name is Oluwadamilare Okulaja has reacted to the criticism trailing a picture of him drinking garri on his social media page.
In a chat with encomium.ng on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, he stated, “I came back from a long journey and wanted something to quench my thirst. The only thing that can do it is to drink garri. I love drinking garri. That is why I tagged it and wrote never forget those things you fed on during the time of hustle,cause they are real food meant for the body. It doesn’t mean I am broke”.
The picture of the “Shayo” master drinking garri garnished with groundnut and a can of peak milk popped up on social media at 4:30pm today. Since it was posted, criticism has not stopped trailing it .Fans are insisting the singer is broke, that was why he was drinking Garri. However, Durella has stated he is not broke, he just wanted to drink Garri to quench his thirst.
