Contrary to the tale in the political circuit in the South-west and beyond, Oyo governor, Senator Isiaka Ajimobi has denied any rancour with the governorship candidate of Accord Party(AP) in the Saturday, April 11,2015,Alhaji Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja. He added it’s nothing but unnecessary propaganda, capable of causing disaffection between himself and the former governor.
He further labeled those sponsoring the story as mischief makers. He therefore urged the public to disregard the tale as there is no iota of truth in it.
In a phone chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Tuesday, April 26, 2015, the amiable governor via his Senior 0special Adviser on media, Mr. Festus Adeoye said, “There is nothing like rancour between Governor Ajimobi and former Governor Rashidi Ladoja. Just as I told you the other time shortly after the election, Governor Ajimobi has embraced all other contestants in the election and promised to extend his hand of fellowship to all of them, including Ladoja. So, all these things you talking about are mere newspaper reports. They should therefore be disregarded.”
Governor Ajimobi’s denial notwithstanding, the tale bearer insisted all is not well between the two political bigwigs on account of the outcome of the guber poll held on Saturday, April 11,2015 which Ladoja had earlier alleged gross malpractices. But we ENCOMIUM Weekly contacted the governor, via his spokesman, Mr Adeoye, he denied it all.
