Ifeanyi Ubah seeks justice, complains about incessant detention

Capital Oil and Gas boss, Ifeanyi Ubah, detained by Department of State Security since Friday, May 5, 2017, is seeking justice in the N11 billion allegations of stealing products Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation kept in his tank.

Accused of theft, economic sabotage and threat to national security, the 45 year old mogul sued the DSS, claiming that NNPC was owing his company N16 billion.

The bulky Otolo, Anambra born football buff who lied about his earlier detention, finally admitted being kept by the DSS for 21 days between March 24 and April 14.

His counsel, Ifeoma Esom, who presented and exparte motion before Justice Mohammed Idris, admitted that much.

The exparte motion seeking his freedom didn’t succeed, but the judge ordered DSS to bring Ifeanyi Ubah before him on Friday, May 12, 2017.
