Top movie producer, Emem Isong is now married according to her Ibibio (Akwa Ibom) tradition.
Emem actually tied the knots the traditional way today (Saturday,December 6,2014) at their native Ikot Ekpene town in Akwa Ibom state.
Encomium.ng gathered that the Nollywoood amazon was accompanied to the wedding by her town’s people, Ini Edo, Mbong Amata, kid sister, Uduak Oguamanam,among others.
“Congrats sis @ememisong.Today is your day! You are a gorgeous bride! May God bless your marriage. You deserve all the happiness in the world”, Omoni Oboli tweeted via her handle @omonioboli this evening (Saturday, December 6,2014).
Ini Edo who is obviously happy for Emem also joyfully tweeted, “lovely couple”. .
Several calls to the A- list multiple-award winning movie producer (Emem) were rejected, but her sister (Uduak) who spoke with us confirmed the traditional wedding.
Mbong Amata also said she couldn’t have missed her mentor’s wedding.
Emem Isong got married secretly to her Camerounian heartthrob, Akama Misodi on October 3,2014.
She has again pulled another surprise with a quiet traditional wedding at her home town in Ikot Ekpene LGA of Akwa Ibom state.
