The 60th birthday and book launch of former governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD) which held at the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Sunday, April 10,2016, was more than successful, and will sure remain on the lips of many, especially the attendees.
The venue was a convergence zone for the high and mighty from different parts of the country.
The carnival- like birthday which kicked off in Sagamu, Ogun state on Wednesday, April 6,2016, was rounded off yesterday amid pomp and pageantry, parading influential politicians, powerful traditional rulers, society big wigs and captains of industry.
The celebrant and his delectable wife, Yeye Olufunke Daniel were highly joyous, dancing to high heavens as King of World Beat, Sunday Adegeye, famously addressed as KSA, kept thrilling till the guests departed.
Among the dignitaries at the high octane shindig were: former Head of state, Chief Ernest Shonekan, Awujale of Ijebu Ode, Oba Sikiru Adetona, Governor Ayodele Fayose, Chief Rasaq Okoya and wife, Shade, former governor of Cross River state, Donald Duke, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, former Oyo governor, Chief Alao Akala, Senator Olorunbe Mamowora, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Dr. Olorogun Sunny Kuku, Yeye Oge Opral Benson, Jimi Agbaje, Hon.
