Magically entertaining from start to finish, multitude of music stars stormed the Garden City to support the music super star whose twin brother, Peter also wedded his own baby mama (Lola Omotayo).

The wedding, held at Aztec Arcum Events Centre on Stadium Road, Port Harcourt, kicked off officially at about 2 45 pm with the arrival of the couple who were garbed in beautifully made traditional attires. The Aso ebi girls wore turquoise and peach head gear.

First on the programme after presentation of kola nuts to welcome guests, was the Igbo traditional marriage rites which was amazingly conducted without any fuss.

The traditional search for the would be husband by his bride followed, and immediately he was found and offered the symbolic wine to consummate the marriage they were proclaimed customarily married by the representatives of the bride’s and groom’s families.

The bridal dance, the official first kiss and cutting of the wedding cake, by the wife of the Governor of Cross River State, Mrs. Obioma Imoke happened in quick succession to make ample room for over five hours of back- to -back musical performances by artistes as well as the celebrant and his other half, Peter.

The never- to-be-forgotten and massively attended traditional wedding ceremony didn’t wind up until 9pm when the couple stepped out of the beautiful event centre with their families and guests.

The Paul Okoye/Anita Isama’s traditional wedding was majorly anchored by high flying entertainer, Julius de Genius Agwu. Another comedian, Ugboma Gerald assisted the host during the traditional wedding proper.

Paul and Peter Okoye (P-Square) are two of Africa’s biggest music stars. The multiple award-winning singers are now happily married. Though Peter was the first to have a baby (Cameron), courtesy of Lola Omotayo and also got married, Paul and Anita now have a baby (Andrea) together.
