Inside the burial of evangelist Eunice Elisha today

It was an atmosphere of mourning and tears as the slain evangelist of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Eunice Elisha Olawale was laid to rest at Gudu cemetery Abuja, today (Saturday, July 23, 2016).
She was buried after a service was held in RCCG FCT 2 Provincial Headquarters in Kubwa, Abuja and a service of song held in her honour on Friday July 22, 2016.

 Eunice Elisha who was a pastor in RCCG, was killed in Gbazango-West area of Kubwa, Abuja on Saturday, July 9, 2016, around 5:30 am by unidentified persons during an evangelical outreach.

 Two aides of President Muhammmadu Buhari- Babachir Lawal, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (right) and Femi Adesina, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity attended the 42 year old burial.

 Lawal was quoted as saying, “As a government, we want to inform you that all the perpetrators of this act will not go free and will be brought to book. All Nigerians should be safe and free to practice their religion anywhere. Government’s resolve is to fish out the perpetrators. We pray to God not only to forgive them, but pray that the perpetrators seek for repentance. On behalf of the President and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, may God console you.”

 Eunice Elisha was survived by her husband Olawale Elisha, also a pastor at RCCG and seven children.
