International stars storm Lagos for Corporate Elite Nite

It was a worthwhile experience for top business men and women, which included Chief Executive Officers of national and multi-national companies, high-value business executives, top government functionaries, media executives, regulatory agencies, and notable business and opinion leaders, who graced the Corporate Elite Nite Concert yesterday as top music stars, from around the world, thrilled guests at the 8th edition of the event, co-sponsored by MTN.

The star-studded event which held on Sunday November 23, 2014, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos provided an avenue for MTN high value customers to enjoy the music of yester  years in a classy and convivial atmosphere.

Some of the guests who attended the event were obviously overjoyed when they listened to the soulful tunes from some of the artistes. Emmanuel Fagade, a top company executive says “am very impressed with what I have seen here this night. It’s a good way to end the year and I look forward to another spectacular show next year.”

Speaking on this year’s edition of the classic event, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN, Richard Iweanoge, explains that, “The Corporate Elite Nite is one of the company’s ways of creating an enlivening atmosphere for its high value customers to relax and enrich their network amidst exhilarating moments of live evergreen songs from great international superstars”.

Those who performed at the high value event included  the soulful Freddie Jackson, one-time recipient of the American Music Award for Favourite Soul/R & B Single,  also performed alongside deep soulful house band, Micasa, from South Africa, Jamaican early 90s superstar duo, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Cameo and MTN Brand Ambassadors.

US pop artiste, Mario and Freddie Jackson were very excited to entertain the men and women of class that graced the concert. Mario who could not hide his excitement said “am very delighted to be in Nigeria. This is a fantastic place to be. I will certainly love to be here again” he stated.

Paul Okoye, CEO, Upfront & Personal, the concert organizers also expressed his satisfaction on the quality of attendance at the event.
