Ita-Giwa’s daughter, Koko and fiancé, Chimaobi Obioha reveal their love story to Glam & Essence magazine

SENATOR Florence Ita Giwa’s daughter, Kokoaka – who is getting ready for a fabulous society wedding to Chimaobi Obioha on Saturday, September 20, 2014 – has revealed to Susan Eyo Honesty’s Glam & Essence magazine her love story and how hopeful and proud she is about the union that will change her life forever.
In the current edition of the glossy magazine (now selling on the streets across Nigeria and beyond), her fiancé also admitted why she means the world to him.
“I want to look back on this day, 30, 40 years from now and have a big grin on my face,” Kokoaka said about her day of joy.
On the man who she will spend the rest of her life with, she stated: “I’ve met someone I’ve grown with, and we are still growing together. Now that growth is unending in every sense of the word. So, we didn’t just grow together physically, but we matured together…”
Chimaobi Obioha, a graduate of Covenant University, Ota, Ogun state, Nigeria, with a Masters from Coventry University, Coventry, England, revealed to Glam & Essence how he proposed.
“…She had just completed her first degree from University of Essex, England, we were still in a celebratory mood in London. We were invited to dinner by a friend at the 02 Arena in London, so after the dinner, on our way to the car, I kept on joking about proposing…” And he did. Of course, she was elated!
The superlative wedding is billed for the Methodist Church of the Trinity, Tinubu Square, Lagos, with reception at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, later in the afternoon.
With pink and fuchsia colour code, the nuptial reportedly gulping over N100 million, kicked off in Calabar, Cross River State, last weekend (Saturday, September 13, 2014) with a traditional engagement.
