It’s a no! Scotland votes to remain part of the UK

Scotland has voted ‘no’ to independence from the United Kingdom after millions of voters took to the polls to decide the future of Britain in a historic referendum yesterday (September 18).

In the end, the vote was split at 55.4 percent to 44.7 percent, with 28 out of the 32 council areas voting No, and four voting Yes.
