The management of Forte Oil Plc, has moved to stop a rumour flying around this morning that its gas stations around the country were going to sell petrol at N115 per litre.
They were forced into making the denial after a Twitter user @abi_abiodun early today, tweeted that Femi Otedola, owner of Forte Oil Plc allegedly announced that his stations were going to sell at the reduced price.
The tweet led many excited Nigerians into frenzy with many appreciating the purported gesture by Otedola.
The company has however denied that it has reduced the price to N115 as it is selling at the maximum cap approved by the Federal Government, N145 per litre.
