It’s untrue! Dangote still on top 100 billionaires’ list

Africa’s pride and its richest, Alhaji ALIKO Dangote, 59, is still well settled on world’s billionaires’ list at number 82 with $13 billion, contrary to the report flying afield that he has been kicked off following crashing Naira.

This morning ( Tuesday, July 26) at 8:50 am, the Kano born industrialist was still listed on the prestigious Forbes list of top 100 world’s billionaires.

Though he has lost almost half of his fortunes in the last one year, from $25 billion at number 23 on the list, he is coping well as recession and multiple economic challenges ravage Nigeria. With dollar exchanging for N309 from N197 officially, millions of Nigerians are groaning.

Still on the list of billionaires with Dangote are Dr. Michael Adenuga, Jnr, 63, at number 192 with $7 billion, and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, 65, resting on number 1,127 with $1.8 billion.

Both have also lost a lot of money.

Meanwhile, two other billionaires, Mr. Femi Otedola, 52, and Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, 55, are no longer on the list. Once  allotted $1.9 billion, Otedola’s last rating was at $1.1 billion before dropping off. Rabiu had $1.2 billion at his height on the list, dropping to $1.1 billion before disappearing on the list.
