GORGEOUS thespian and CEO, BIO Lingerie, Magodo, Lagos, Bisi Ibidapo-Obe, better addressed as Omo logbalogba, has rubbished the tale that she has shut down her adult store. She added that it’s just a figment of people’s imagination.
She further described the tale as not only unfounded but laughable.
Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Saturday, August 15, 2015, the pretty mother of one child, Destiny Abayomi expressed total dismay in the tale, labeling those behind it as enemies of progress. She, however, cried that BIO Lingerie is still in operation as there is no iota of truth in the closure tale.
“I don’t understand what you really mean by whether I have closed down my shop or not. In the first place, whose business is it if I have closed it? Let alone, there is nothing like that at all. I don’t know where they got that.
“Fine, I have not been around for sometime but now, I am back. I think someone just like imagining things. I don’t even know their business about that. My shop is not shut down for any reason whatsoever.”
On May 18, 2015, Omo logbalogba formally opened her adult store, BIO Lingerie in Magodo, Lagos, and stocked undies, children’s, men’s and women’s wears as well as sex toys. Since, a lot of people, mainly celebrities have been patronizing the shop.
And when ENCOMIUM Weekly had a chat with the Ilesha, Osun born entertainer cum entrepreneur in February this year, she made a clarification on the shop. She stated that she was not mainly dealing in sex toys as being bandied. “I am not into sex toys really. My shop is called Lingerie, where we deal in undies for both men and women. We sell so many things, including shoes, bags, scarves, bras, night wears for men and women and even children. The sex toys people are referring to is just a small section of the business. And to me, it’s not a big deal. It’s only our mentality here in Nigeria that’s somehow. In the western world, they don’t see it as anything big. Left to me, anybody using sex toy is even decent compared to a prostitute.”
