Ivy league? What it actually means to be admitted into all 8

Ifeoma Thorpe-White, a 17 year old Nigerian, being admitted into all 8 Ivy League universities is a feat worthy of commendation by President Muhammadu Buhari and all the good people of Nigeria.

Apart from being set for scholarship by these private schools, she would be closely monitored and guarded into an academic tutelage as a brilliant student to serenade.

Being admitted into these schools ranked top in the United States of America and the world separates the young woman and places her in a special league.
The Ivy League universities – Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University and Yale University – are ranked among the best in the world for their academic excellence, highly selective admission process and social elitism.
The term Ivy League came into use around 1933, and became official in 1954,  but started as a sporting conference of eight private institutions in the Northwestern United States.
They became prestigious as their ranking rose among the best 15 top institutions in the US.
For Ifeoma Thorpe-White, a senior at Morris High School in Rockaway, New Jersey, she’s yet to make up her mind which to choose.
Ifeoma who hopes to be a cardiologist will study Biology first…
