Iya Kike 5: ‘She was a mother indeed’ – Omobola Majekodunmi (step daughter)

What is your position in the family?

I am the fifth child in the family

How would you describe her?

She was very caring. She was always there to check on us, to know how we were faring all the time. She was a mother indeed.

How did you feel when she died?

I felt so bad, nobody would have felt any better. But it’s the Lord at work and there is nothing we can do about it. So, we have accepted it as one of His ways.

What would you miss most about her?

Her motherly care. No one can replace a mother in any one’s life. The vacuum will always be there.

Where were you when she died?

I am based in America. I was not there when she died.
