Jahbless escapes death in Wednesday car crash

Nigerian hip-hop act and rave of the moment, JahBless in the early hours of Thursday 4th of June, miraculously escaped the cold hands of death when his Mercedes Benz R350 driven by his road manager Mr. Damola Adetunji crashed into a stationary truck laden with granite on Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island.

JahBless had only a few minutes earlier, after headlining Wednesday’s edition of Industry Night at Spice Route, and in what could be described as a twist of fate, taken a decision to ride in another car in his convoy in the company of his Business Manager, Mr. Babalola Idowu.

Eyewitness accounts say that while it was raining heavily, JahBless’ car rammed into the truck which was parked indiscriminately on the road without functional parking lights, caution signs, or reflective stickers.

Current situation reports say that Damola, who drove the car with registration number AAA 158 CM, is severely injured and was treated at  St. Nicholas hospital on the island,  while the other occupant of the car has been treated for slight injuries on the arm. Damola has since been transferred to the Ondo State Trauma Centre Headed by Dr. Oluwole Ige and adjudged to be one of the best Trauma centres in the entire Sub-Saharan African region.

Jahbless a.k.a ‘Olori Ebi’ who is signed on to JE Records and recently released his star-studded third studio album “I am Me”, expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life and called on fans and well-wishers to pray for Damola’s speedy recovery.
