Jailed for life! Brother kills identical twin in drunken brawl, gets life sentence

A 32-year-old man who murdered his identical twin brother during a drunken fight on New Year’s Eve has been given a life sentence and is to serve a minimum of 13 years.

Robert Cerqua, a plasterer, was convicted on Monday (October 20, 2014) of killing his carpenter brother, Christopher by Winchester Crown Court, South-west London, England.

The court heard that Cerqua stabbed his twin with a kitchen knife in a ‘fit of temper’ following an argument in their family house in Hythe, Hamsphire last year (December 31).
