HIGH-flying entertainer, Julius Agwu has stepped up.  He has taken delivery of the luxury and rugged Mercedes Benz G-63 AMG. ENCOMIUM Weekly spotted Julius in his wondrous automobile on Thursday night (February 19, 2015) at D’Place Restaurant on Admiralty Way, Lekki, Lagos.

The Choba, Rivers-born comedian cum entrepreneur had a business meeting with a client at the A-list hangout where he chose to unveil the ride with registration number, PH 333 CH.

Julius Agwu’s G-Wagon is believed to have cost him about N35 million!

ENCOMIUM Weekly’s checks also revealed that the cost of Mercedes G-Class range is really on the high side.

The 2015 model is sold between $130,000 (N26 million) and $200,000 (N40 million) depending on its degree of customization.  Older models could also be sold at $100,000 (N20 million) or even less.

Contacted on Sunday, February 22, 2015, to confirm he just acquired a G-Wagon 63, Julius Agwu declined elaborate comments.

“Una don come o!  No comment,” was all he said in response to our SMS.

ENCOMIUM Weekly had wanted to know when he shipped in the luxury automobile, its real cost and if it’s true the car is a gift from the All Progressives Congress and his pal, Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State.

Before the arrival of his G-Wagon 63, Julius Agwu who has never admitted being a car freak had a Mercedes GL 450, a Toyota Camry, RAV 4, among others.

A University of Port Harcourt graduate of Theatre Arts, Julius de Genius Agwu is an actor, singer and comedian.  He also runs a multi-media company, Real Laif Entertainment.  Julius aspired to run for governor in Rivers State before he backed out.  He now romances the opposition, APC, who he anchors some of their events.  Only recently, he compered the Valentine treat the APC chieftains gave to their supporters at Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, on behalf of the party’s Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.  Said to be facilitated by Rivers State Governor Amaechi, Julius was reportedly heavily rewarded for the A-list job.

Very busy at the moment, Julius’ recent London, Abuja and Port Harcourt shows have also made the talented artiste more bankable than ever.  And to show he has arrived, he has now acquired a status symbol (G-Wagon 63) to throttle with the high and mighty.
