Yibo Koko denies Kate Henshaw- ‘She’s not my lover’

Yibo Koko, one of the judges on the just concluded talent show, Nigeria’s Got Talent (NGT) Season 2, has finally opened up on the alleged romance between him and delectable actress, Kate Henshaw.

In an exclusive chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Saturday, February 8, 2014, he maintained that the widespread tales and pictures were nothing but media spin by mischievous people.

“The rumour was just a spin. I see it as a huge joke. That’s why we kept quiet. There was no truth in it. All the pictures and alleged closeness were for the event and nothing attached to them. It only gave me more publicity.”

According to multiple media reports few days back, Yibo and Kate were  in a sizzling romance, the insinuation which stemmed from their alleged intimacy while on and off the NGT set.

Kate Henshaw was born in July 19, 1971, in Cross River State, Nigeria, the oldest of four children. After completing her primary and secondary school in Lagos and Calabar, she spent one year at the University of Calabar doing remedial studies, and then majored in Medical Microbiology at the School of Medical Lab Science, Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Lagos. Henshaw worked at the Bauchi State General Hospital.

In 1993, Henshaw auditioned for the lead role in the movie, When the Sun Sets, and was handed the role. This was her first appearance in a major Nollywood movie. In 2008, she won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for the film, Stronger than Pain. She is presently The Face of Onga.

Her marriage to her white hubby crashed in 2012 but the union is blessed with a daughter, Gabrielle.

Yibo koko is a comedian based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He is a theatre Arts graduate from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

Two years ago, comedian Yibo Koko made up his mind to take a leave from the nation’s entertainment industry. And suddenly he landed in the United Kingdom to upgrade his knowledge of film-making. During his two-year sojourn in Queen’s land, he acquired a deep knowledge of film-making at the St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University, United Kingdom, which is affiliated to the California University Studios.

He is happily married and the union is blessed with three kids.
