‘Keep your fingers crossed, as I walk down the aisle soon,’ says Bimbo Thomas

BIG, bold and beautiful actress, Bimbo Thomas is walking down the aisle soon.  ENCOMIUM Weekly had an interview with her, where she spoke about how fulfilling 2012 and aspirations for 2013.  She also said we should keep our fingers crossed on who the lucky man in her life is and more.

What’s new about Bimbo Thomas?

I am still me, except for some positive changes.  I am now signed under a management, you guys would hear about them soon.  I also concluded my script that I have been working on for a while now.  Before the end of the first quarter of 2013, by God’s grace, I would get on location.  There’s so much more I can’t start mentioning.

How would you describe 2012, career wise?

To the glory of God, 2012 was a great year for me. So many dreams came through for me and I can’t help but say 2013 will be a continuation of greatness in every area of my life.

What were the goals you set out to achieve for yourself in 2012, did you achieve them?

I achieved a whole lot of them, in fact, most of them. I was issued an American visa based on an invite as a special guest artiste for the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in New York this year.  I also presented an award, I was able to get a role in a short film entitled, Burden to be shot in February in New Jersey.  So much more, I thank God.

What was the greatest challenge you encountered in 2012?

I had an accident along Agege Motor Road, Lagos. The car was badly bashed, but nothing happened to me, it’s a very big miracle.  When I was repairing my car, I depended on friends to pick me up for locations and outings.  It wasn’t easy at all, but I still overcame all.

You said you will get married in 2012, but we haven’t heard anything, what’s happening?

I didn’t confirm to anyone that I would get married in 2012. I only said soon, so just keep your fingers crossed, it will happen pretty soon by God’s grace.

Can you tell us who the lucky man is?

No!

Would you say it’s difficult for Nollywood actresses to settle down?

I won’t say that, because as an artiste, if you are ready and determined to be in a man’s house, you will. It’s simple, slow down, picture it and stay in it.
