Keyamo, Agbaje lead 47 other lawyers in 2016 SAN honours

Activists Festus Keyamo and Fred Agbaje are in the Senior Advocates of Nigeria’s honours list for 2016 along with 47 other lawyers. Barring any last minute changes, especially complaints from the general public about misdemeanors, they are set to be decorated in September.

The honour, similar to Queen’s Counsel decoration in the United Kingdom, is bestowed on experienced, tested and well versed lawyers who fulfill set requirements. But there are usually a ceiling on the number admitted each year, in spite of meeting all the criteria.
