Kogi govt, Arik air, others bring succour to conjoined Ayeni twins

Enugu conjoined twins, Miracle and Testimony Ayeni, who are joined at the buttocks, are finally set to be flown to the U.S. for a procedure to separate them.

The respite comes after public outcry against the Enugu hospital where they were born’s refusal to release them and allow their parents seek medical assistance elsewhere.

The beautiful 7 months old twins, who have since been released and transferred to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) will soon be on their way to the U.S. after a hospital in God’s own country is now willing to operate on them and the Kogi State government is donating N3m for their upkeep during their stay there.

Arik Airline has agreed to fly the twins and their parents free.  They would embark on the trip as soon as the processing of their traveling documents is completed.
