Lagos turns up with Nigerian comedian Tee A as he celebrates 20 years in comedy

Last night, at Intercontinental Lagos, comedian, Tee A hosted friends and colleagues to a dinner concert to celebrate his 20-year journey in comedy.

The event which was well attended saw guests treated to the very best of food, comedy and music from the likes of Teju Babyface, MC Abbey, Omini headmaster, Wande Coal and Dbanj to name a few.

Notable faces like Gbemi Olagbegi Olateru, Dbanj, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, Darey, Wande Coal, Princess, MC Abbey, Teju Babyface, Yaw, Tosin Ajibade, Okey Bakassi, Omo Baba, Owen Gee, Ese Walters, Benny Ark, Gbemileke and Titi Oscar-Oyinsan, Alibaba and Mary Akpobome were in attendance to celebrate with TeeA.

The event which was proudly supported by Nigerian Breweries brands, Heineken and Strongbow, also, saw present, retired AIG of Police, Tunji Alapini, MD of UPDC, Mr. Hakeem Ogunniran, top FIRS officials, directors of Heritage Bank, WEMA Bank and Synergy Capital.

The guests witnessed a thrilling end to the great show as Dbanj and Wande Coal reunited, taking the stage to perform some of their hit songs from their Mohits days.

Babatunde Adewale or Tee-A as he is popularly called started comedy in 1996 and has since grown to become a household name.  The graduate of linguistics from the University of Lagos carved out a niche for himself as a corporate and events MC, building products like, Live ‘N naked, the now global brand Tymeout With Tee A and his own organization, First Class Entertainment, a multimedia services and TV production company.

Coming up under the mentorship of Alibaba, Tee A has consistently hosted at least 100 events every year, at least within the past 10 years. He has equally produced over 15,000 hours of television, and blessed his industry with a host of original materials.
