Late Honourable Kazeem Ademola Alimi left behind his wife, Mrs. Adijat Modupe Alimi and two boys.
The boys are Abdulbasit Oluwaseun Alimi (who was born in May 1999) and Alami Olayinka Alimi (born on August 30, 2008).
Alimi died on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja shortly before he could be moved abroad.
His death came 15 days after his 50th birthday gig at his residence in Ogudu area of Lagos on July 3.
Before his birthday, he was in Mecca for the lesser Hajj during the Ramadan.
He fell sick days after his birthday, and never recovered.
Honourable Alimi, who represented Eti-Osa 1 constituency since 2011, worked in the Lagos Civil Service before joining politics.
He was buried this afternoon (Wednesday, July 19) at Victoria Court Cemetery in Ibeju Lekki (Lagos).
