Scientists say getting less than five hours sleep makes you crave for carbonated drink. They say sleep deprivation makes one drink more of caffeine and sugary drinks. This may increase the risk of having Type 2 diabetes.
A team of researchers from the Universities of California and San Francisco (both in the USA), suggested that there’s a link between not getting enough sleep and wanting sugary drinks.
Those who are tired from lack of sleep use these drinks to make themselves cheerful or energetic. The researchers, however, said that treating sleep disorders will help people reduce their sugar in-take.
