Globacom has encouraged Nigerians to be hopeful of better days ahead in 2021 despite the challenges of 2020 cause mainly by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The telecommunications company said in a New Year message to Nigerians that there were reasons to be grateful in the midst of challenges faced in the past year, especially as “we were able to survive the year and witness the New Year together”.
“We believe we should be grateful for getting through the year as individuals, families and nation in spite of the challenges occasioned by the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic”, Globacom noted in the statement.
The company said it believed 2021 would be a better year for Nigerians. It, therefore, advised them to think positively and to go into the New Year with hope, fortitude and will power and to work hard to achieve their targets for the year.
Globacom said, “As we strive to achieve personal accomplishments in 2021, let us also embrace one another and aspire to expand the social and economic frontiers of the country in an atmosphere of love, peace and unity”.
It also pledged to continue to invest in avant-garde technology and innovation to delight customers in 2021, and urged them to make use of its voice and data services to stay in touch with loved ones during and after the New Year celebrations.
