Life on another planet is impossible – scientist

English physicist and presenter, Professor Brian Cox, in an episode of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)’s Human Universe, has dismissed the idea that there might be life on other planets, saying that the biological process which led to intelligent life on earth was a fluke and is unlikely to have been repeated anywhere else in the universe.

In his words: “There is only one advanced technological civilization in this galaxy and there has only ever been one – and that’s us. We are unique”.

He made these claims while adding that yet another freak occurrence – the meteor which wiped out the dinosaurs – allowed mammals and ultimately humanity to dominate the planet.
