London commuters ‘hate’ smelly passengers and sneezing on public transport – poll

A poll, conducted by YouGov, has revealed what London commuters ‘hate’ the most about using public transport – and it is poor body hygiene, followed closely by spreading of germs by passengers.

Commuters using the Tube, bus or train said they hated sitting next to a smelly person or being close to people who cough and sneeze without covering their mouth.

Others bugbears, according to the poll, include: people who talk loudly on their mobile phones, passengers who put their feet on the seats those who eat smelly food  and those who don’t make space in the carriage or on the bus during the rush hour.
