A 57-year-old Ohio (USA) man, who has been in jail for nearly four decades, has finally been cleared after a witness confessed to lying.
Ricky Jackson will walk free tomorrow (Friday, November 21) after he was imprisoned for murder in 1975.
He had been convicted on the testimony of then 12-year-old Eddie Vernon, who claimed he had witnessed the attack. The now 53-year-old earlier this week admitted he had falsified his story after confessing to a pastor.
