The lovely partners united in Minna (Niger state) on Friday, May 12, 2017, have been described as quiet and reserved.
Both Halima Babangida and Alhaji Auwal Lawal Abdullahi, studied at close quarters all through the nine ceremonies of their nuptials, appeared well grounded and without airs.
Here’s Encomium Weekly’s character analyses of the 28 year old bride and her matured groom:
* The last of four children of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd) and late Hajia Maryam Babangida (November 1, 1948 – December 27, 2009), Halima was born at First Consultant Hospital in Obalende (Lagos) in 1989.
Unaffected by the hoopla surrounding her wedding, she was composed with an astounding presence of mind. All the razzmatazz didn’t faze her.
Decked in sumptuous apparels and accessories enhanced by dainty jewelry, she carried on without much notice of the din around. Stylish and fashion forward, she was happy but contained herself. She was not one to put up a show.
Agreeable and easy going, her display of maturity, in spite of her privileged birth, is endearing.
* For the dark-skinned groom, experience draped his frame as a smile danced around his lips at intervals during the ceremonies.
The Sarkin Sudan Gombe
had on the toga of understanding as he joined the party train whenever required, and retired when he was tired.
Unassuming and circumspect, he displayed a caring side as he stole glances at his bride, and both laughed heartily.
Said to have two other wives, with one of them praying at the Gombe home of the blue-blooded businessman for the marriage to be abundantly blessed, there is no cause to worry about the new couple.
