Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp marriage hit the rocks after three years

Reports have filtered in that the marriage of actress, Meg Ryan and singer – John Mellencamp – has hit the rocks, after only three years.

Inside sources told a US publication that the split arose from the couple living far apart, with Meg living in New York and John living in Indiana. The reports added that the pair split ‘a couple of weeks ago’.

Meg (52) and John (62) had formed a close family unit during their time together and were recently spotted out and about in New York with the actress’ nine-year-old daughter, Daisy.
