Melissa Rivers tearfully bids farewell to mother’s casket

Joan Rivers’ daughter, Melissa Rivers couldn’t hold back her tears as her mother’s casket was loaded into a hearse in New York City yesterday (September 6), reportedly on its way to a crematorium in preparation for today’s (September 7) funeral at New York City’s Temple Emanu-El.

Wearing dark glasses, the only child of Joan Rivers, Melissa (46) stood with her 13-year-old son Cooper outside the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, leaning in to touch the casket one last time.
