Embattled husband of star actress Mercy Aigbe, Olanrewaju Gentry (Larry Gentry) who was released from Kirikiri Prisons on Tuesday, May16, 2017, after perfecting his bail conditions, will tomorrow (Thursday, May 18, 2017) leave the shores of Nigeria for Jerusalem for pilgrimage.
Speaking with encomium.ng on Wednesday, May 18, 2017, when contacted to confirm the truth about a post credited to him on social media which discredited the government on the state of Nigerian prisons on account of his experience while he was remanded for seven days, the Ilesa, Osun born hotelier said, “I can’t talk to you now. I am preparing for my trip to Jerusalem. By tomorrow, Thursday, May 18, 2017, I will be travelling to Jerusalem. So, when I come back, I will tell you everything you want to know about the issue.”
All efforts to hear further comments from him proved abortive as all the calls put through to his mobile phone didn’t go through again.
Gentry was remanded in Kirikiri Prisons following the assault he reportedly committed on his wife, Mercy Aigbe days back. Since, his seven year marriage to the pretty thespian has hit the rock and it may take eternity for the two to come back as husband and wife as their case is still in court as confirmed to us by the Edo born film maker when encomiu.ng spoke to her on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
